Perhaps you were ‘off your feed’? 😉 Sorry, couldn’t resist! Maybe the squirrels’ secret police got hold of it temporarily and were censoring the transmission . . . I wouldn’t put any sort of nefarious deeds beyond them!
Hahaha.. we used to train our little dog to chase after the squirrel on signal. But, of course, the squirrel still outsmarts all of us! xoxo Smidge
ps So glad to see you back in these here parts:)
No wonder I think your little canine marshmallow is adorable! Anyone who’ll terrorize the squirrels a little in recompense for their constant depredations is aces in my estimation!

My Nemesis, The Squirrel, and I have battled for years. (Methinks this is the 2nd or 3rd generation, meaning he is not only evil but a teacher!) He raids my tomatoes and leaves them at my back door. I’m counting on Max to settle the score. I think I need a better plan.
Squirrels: Fuzzy rats with a good PR department…
This didn’t showup in the feed yesterday…wonder why?

Great! (Have you ever listened to “The Mississippi Squirrel Revival” by Ray Stevens?) Your tales reminded me of it. 🙂
I shall look it up! Good ol’ Ray. I’ve no doubt it will be educational *and* entertaining, as his work has always been. 😉
Mustn’t make him so cute…
That’s the problem with so many pests: they make any amount of trouble and still manage to get forgiven and get by on looks! Humph. 😉

Keep an eye on Max, lest he be sucked into the vortex of squirrelly evil! Those little rats are relentless!
