Silence may not be Golden, but Control of Noisemaking Keeps Everyone Safer

photoPractice as though Your Life Depended on It

Two singers strolled into a wood, and I

Followed the one less skillful; why?

Starved beasts will flock to an anguished cry,

As they did that day; in the wink of an eye,

I was on the road less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

    • A lovely thought, and yes, my partner is a very skilled singer 😀 even if he mostly sings to demonstrate something in rehearsal or to serenade me with silly songs he makes up to amuse me! On Sunday his Collegium Singers sang an evensong service as guests at the Anglican church in Dallas, and because the presiding priest (a dear, sweet man but not a singer!) preferred not to chant, Richard filled in as cantor and it was a joy to hear him sing ‘IRL’ again. 🙂 xo
