2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 6,300 times in 2011. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 5 trips to carry that many people.

  1. Well, aren’t you just the clever Kat??? This is pretty darn nifty and I sit here once again with “blog envy!”.
Happy New Year to you and yours!
(And I have to tell you that I thought of you with a bIg old laugh tonight! One of my friends posted that she was watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and who do you think I thought of first? The CHILD CATCHER! I really think he gives Pennywise a run for his money in the creepiness department…)

    • Just so’s you don’t feel like you’ve been “taken for a ride”. 🙂 I expect you and I shall share many happy sojourns in the year ahead! (Oops, I wrote “shave”–does that mean they’ll be truly hair-raising?!)

    • Why yes, this household is just *dripping* with swell-itude. Or is only it that we’re drips? No matter, as long as it continues to be fun! Glad you’re along for the ride, my friend!

    • Thanks, dear one! It’s nice that WP offers us its encouragement even if in the form of a form-letter. Stats only being stats and all. But it *is* kind of a pleasant surprise to see what’s been happening here over the last 6 months. 🙂

  3. Congratulations! Great, more! I look forward to the entries in this year!

    Here I am! I’m listening!
    Happy New Year! Terike

    • You set an extremely high standard for blogging accomplishment that I’ll never quite match! But I’m pleased with every little bit I manage, so I thank you very much. 🙂 Yes, I promise there’ll be more poetry, more art, more playtime ahead.
