their summer-heated shins

at its puns and the way
its hilarious licking made
them squirm like
That brought back the memory of my Grams, taking her old aluminium lawn chair down to the creek, and sitting with her feet in the water while we grandkids played and splashed…she was still able to do it when my own kiddoes went to visit her in North Arkansas…Thanks, K. 🙂
