While all you two-legs types are mired
And wallowing in wintry fear,
I see spring’s hints and am inspired
To smell the happiness from here
What gain or merit mankind finds
In only frigid, dormant joy,
When you could wag those sad behinds,
Dance forward, every girl and boy—
Hold on to sorrow if you must,
While I lap up those thrills made dear
By breaking through the frozen dust:
I smell the happiness from here!
Beautiful!

Thank you, my sweet! xoxo, Kathryn
*wagging*
Woo-WOOOOO!!!! 😀
I like this
Perhaps your beautiful cat companion waves her tail in similar appreciation of the marvels of her world. I know many cats that do!
Wagging, but not as attractively as that beautiful blue-eyed fellow/girl!
She was indeed a beauty. Asana and her equally handsome fellow Siberian Tristan (https://kiwsparks.wordpress.com/2012/06/17/youre-not-the-boss-of-me-well-yeah-you-probably-are/) belonged to my sister’s next door neighbors and sometimes went on walks with us when my nephews were on dog-walking duty for them. After Asana died, Tristan came to live with one of my other sisters, so we got to enjoy our companionable, tail-wagging walks even more often.
Wagging…
Of course, I know full well that *you* understand this! 🙂
